Education and Experience

My love for this line of work started as an undergraduate when I held numerous leadership positions related to assisting people in various ways.  Throughout my collegiate experience I served as a Peer Counselor, Peer Minister, Orientation Leader, Resident Advisor, Sorority President and Sorority Recruitment Counselor – all of which involved extensive training in the areas of listening, communication, problem-solving and directing others to appropriate resources/referrals.

This lead to nearly 15 years of related professional experience in the realm of Higher Education:  First as an Activities Assistant, then as a Program Coordinator and Senior Program Coordinator, then as a Manager of Campus Partnerships and finally as an Associate Director of Marketing & Programs.

In August of 2007 I decided that it was time to switch gears and move from full time administrator/part time coach and consultant to full time coach and consultant and part time faculty member.  This shift has allowed me to focus on my coaching and consulting practice with greater intention while still affording me the opportunity to work with college students and assist them in their growth and development, something that I truly enjoy!
